HEALTHY MEAL PREP AND GROCERY HAUL!

hey everyone and welcome a bakit to mychannel I went to SoulCycle this morning and then I did some grocery shoppingafter it's my first grocery trip after my trip so I thought I would show youguys and overhauled what I got plus how I'm gonna meal prep so what I'm gonnaeat make with everything and how I'm gonna use it throughout the week so thatyou guys can kind of get like meal ideas and just see what I prep so let's getinto it alright so starting off with the first bag I have some mint I likeputting this with my caught water for fresh mint tea or just using it in waterbecause it tastes refreshing also some cherries and these were the fun coloredones I forget what they're called there's much the Rainier cherries youcan see on the package anyways I thought this would be a good snack if you have alittle bit of fruit and then some nuts you always want to combine your fruitswith a fat to slow down the kind of blood sugar spike that you get fromfruit and then some organic strawberries were on sale I like using these in mychia pudding which I will link that video down below because I put a secretingredient that makes my chia pudding the best I've got some butter lettuceI'm gonna have some like tacos with this and like use this as the shella cucumber that I need for a recipe but it's also good to put in smoothies someavocados great for healthy fats I use them with eggs they make every saladbetter a yellow zucchini I'm gonna use that to like roast a bunch about Cheetosin the oven to have on hand a week a couple of green zucchiniI might spiralize them or I might roast and I'm not sure yet either way thezucchinis probably my favorite vegetable to have on hand because it's soversatile you can do so much with it a broccoli broccoli is another one of mystaples and I get every week that I just like to cook that I like to steam untilit's bright green and then I toss it well you'll see I'll show you a coupleof limes for a recipe for this week a purple sweet potato which you guys haveseen me before the meal preps have again it'seasy when you have vegetables and like potatoes on hand that you can just throwit together with protein or throw together a salad a bunch of lemons youguys know i'ma lemon crazy all right on to the second bag I got some Free Runeggs you guys ask me a lot why my egg yolks were so dark and that's becausethey're Free Run which you want when you're buying eggs you want to look forFree Run eggs they'll have eight darker yolk color and it's hypothesized thatlike a dark video has more nutrient value in it I got these snow peas againI want to use this as a stir fry and I wanted a different vegetable that Ididn't have often and I haven't had snow peas in a whileso I thought this was good then I got some silk cultured coconut yogurt in theplane this is my favorite non-dairy yogurt it has I think one or zero onegram of sugar which is like the night cause you look compared to the otherones um and this is good because the plain one you can use for both sweet andsavory so I'm gonna make a lime crema with this yogurt and a little bit oflime um with the better leaf lettuce kind of like lime comes with tacos inthe butter leaf lettuce but you could also use it for speed so that's what Ireally like about it it's carrageenan free as well I got some cauliflowerflorets which I'm first gonna steam and then refreeze teas for smoothies ithelps to bulk up smoothies while adding a lot of nutrients in itcauliflower hide choline choline is great for your brain so all thebrainpower then I got some boneless chicken breast which I'm just gonna bakein the oven and just have on hand to either put them to tacos put into saladsagain the key is having simple things that I literally throw in the oven toprep and then you know you have it on hand all weekso that is my grocery haul and let's get in it to my meal prep so I'm starting off by steaming thecauliflower and then I'm going to refreeze it you definitely want to makesure that you steam your cauliflower and then refreeze but before putting it intoyour smoothies um it makes it better to digest alright so next up I washed mypurple sweet potato and I'm just gonna chop it into chunks now I like sweetpotato as opposed to normal potato because it has much more nutrients in itmore beta-carotene it's lower on the glycemic index which means it won'tspike your blood sugar and I also just like the colors because how vibrant andbeautiful is this purple sweet potato and potatoes are also one of the thingsthat you want to buy organic because it's one of them more pesticide Ladenfoods I'm you can google the Dirty Dozen and that will tell you so I just chop itup into small chunks like this alright so here's my sweet potato I this is justone it gives you a lot I typically have about a quarter cup so about this muchor sea potato in a meal I'm just for a source of complex carbs so this shouldlast me may be it for right so the first thing I use is avocado oil if you guyshave watched any of my videos before you know that I use all not olive oilavocado oil to wrist because it has a higher smoke point which means it's notgonna cause damaging free radicals because olive oil only lasted 350 whenyou're roasting veggies you want them to turn out really like yummy crispyespecially potatoes you need to cook it at 425 and I added in some garlic powderso that's what this was I would say a little moreand then I'm adding in some Himalayan salt which is really good it has a 84essential minerals in it for you and also bounces your pH all right so I havemy silicone baking sheet and then I just put the potatoes on top so I have my oven set to rust and I ampreheating at 425 so once your cauliflower is tender with a fork youknow it is done and I wait to like for it to cool before freezing it becauseyou don't want like the plastic bag you put it into like melting and now I'mchopping up the yellow squash that I'm gonna roast in the oven and I'm justgonna do a giant plate of veggies that I can use for different things throughoutthe week also gonna cut up a little bit of red onion I have some leftovercarrots that I'm just going to throw into the bowl of – just to kind of grosswhatever I have left adding in some snow peas for greens and then we're gonnaseason it again so I'm using avocado oil you guys know that I love probably likea tablespoon and then one of my favorite seasonings is the simply organic grindto a salt it's just a really good seasoning that has a bunch of stuff ithas sea salt mustard celery seed garlic onion chili peppers and black pepper allright and the broccoli is steaming as well and that'll be good to go soon andnow I'm just spiralizing some zoodles just so that they're ready to go I don'tcook them I got to keep them raw and then I just cook them coz they cook downreally quick so I don't need to like meal prep them but I do like to have itspiralized so that they are ready to go alright so my veggies are my bakingsheet and I put on the chicken breasts that I bought and again use my favoritesimply organic grant assault with focus seasoning on itand it's just really easy makes it taste good and we're gonna pop it in the ovenat 400 degrees for about 20 minutes and then I'm gonna check on it so this iseverything that I have meal prep the chicken is done I just cut it up and cutit into breasts these are the roasted veggies we have the sweet potato I mademore of my chia pudding that I love like I said it'll be like down below I didadd some maca into it which is going to helpenergy and it also balances hormones zoodles and then my steamed broccoli andthe cauliflower is already in the freezer I hope you guys enjoy the seeingwhat I meal prep for the week I just really like having certain like cookingin the vegetables individually and then making different things as opposed tomaking like take cauliflower fried rice and eating that five days in a rowcooking like broccoli separate call if I was separate and then kind of mixing itup different ways that way you don't get tired of meals you're like you lookforward to eating meals and it makes it more versatile when it's
